Bereavement services are complimentary
As a certified Bereavement Doula, I’d like to begin with saying, if you are reading this because this is a service you need, my heart is for you and I am so sorry you are experiencing such devastating loss.
I will come alongside, and support families who are experiencing loss and have to say goodbye too soon. Whether it be through miscarriage, stillbirth or a medical diagnosis that means the baby will not live long after delivery. The support given as a bereavement Doula is very similar in nature as to what I would offer to a family whose outcome is not ridden with grief. I will help with a resource list available to you as you navigate through this time, I will help with comfort measures during the labor and birth process, the welcoming and preparation of saying hello and goodbye. I also provide photography if that is something desired. I am a firm believer that families need to be supported, no matter the outcomes of their pregnancy. Grief comes in all different forms, there is no step by step manual on how to grieve, but you do not have to try and navigate the rawness of what has shaken your world alone.
